Tippin’s pies and pastries aren’t made by ordinary people; they are made by bakers and our “angels.” The “angels” got their name from a comment made by our owner one day as he was watching them top our pies with cream, and the name stuck. Our bakers fill our pumpkin, pecan and Dixie pies by hand, and taste test each batch to make sure it’s perfect. Our angels hand top each cream and meringue pie, and decorate each cake. This makes our desserts like snowflakes; no two are identical. With pie makers who have been with us for decades, we like to think that our team is pretty awesome. To learn more about our team, read some of their bios here.
Making Tippin’s pies, pastries, and other goodies is a true labor of love and patience. We dream beyond the pie pan and white chef coats, and hope that a slice of our pie can bring families and friends together for a time worth sharing.
