March is that time of year when things get a little crazy… there’s spring fever creeping in, spring break trips, and a basketball tournament that induces madness. It’s also the time when Tippin’s participates in the Battle of the Brands!
KCSourceLink puts on this friendly annual competition among Kansas City entrepreneurs and established companies to see who can earn bragging rights.
This is our third time in the battle, and we’re feeling that third time’s the charm.
In our first try, we lost to Sporting KC, who had just come off their championship season and it was awfully hard not to vote for them. Our second time around, Sporting KC took us out in the third round. Apparently, soccer bests pies in Kansas City!
We’re ready to win this year, but we need your help. And win or lose, we’ll still eat pie to celebrate the winner.
Here’s how it works:
Just like the big basketball tournament, there’s a field of 64 companies. Tippin’s will go head-to-head with another local company in each round. So we’ll be asking you to VOTE in each round. It just takes a few clicks. Look for Tippin’s in the “Second Stage” bracket. VOTE HERE.

The votes have been cast… and Tippin’s emerged as the Second Stage Champion! We qualified for the Final Four, but even with the tremendous support from our faithful, pie-loving fans, we experienced the agony of defeat in the final battle.
