It’s me, Katie, Tippin’s marketer and official baker in training. I have been blogging my journey at Tippin’s for about a year now, and it’s time to say good-bye. I am leaving Tippin’s and wanted to share my favorite memories and recipes with you.
My favorite memory was learning how to top pies with our “Cake Angels.” When I started, I couldn’t even put the boarder around the pie correctly. Once I learned the proper technique, they put me on the line. That’s where we all shared many laughs. The line was moving slow for them, but I couldn’t finish one pie without ending up by the boxes.
I not only learned how to cream a pie while at Tippin’s, I learned how to bake on my own. My favorite pie I made was the Triple Chocolate Pumpkin Pie. I love taking a traditional pie, like pumpkin, and adding a new twist to it. No, nothing can beat a Tippin’s Pumpkin Pie, but a new taste can be refreshing.
I have experienced so much here at Tippin’s, but I think my all-time favorite thing about working here is the people.
Thanks for the great memories Tippin’s,
