Q: Where are you from?
A: Shawnee, KS
Q: What do you do at Tippin’s?
A: President and Official Pie Taster
Q: What do you like about working at Tippin’s?
A: Pies are fun. And we have some great people here who have been around since the beginning of the restaurants, so we have all of this wonderful heritage. Plus, we get to eat our mistakes.
Q: How long have you been working at Tippin’s?
A: A little over two years
Q: What do you do outside of working at Tippin’s?
A: My wife and I own two therapy dogs, and there is a lot of training and exercise and grooming that go into having them ready. Our dogs specialize with children, and so we are always working on having them be gentle around kids. Things like a simple handshake with a dog can be really scary to a three-year old, and the dogs paws and claws can be rough to a little one.
Q: If you had a day off work, what we you do?
A: I would go on a long bike ride with my wife, take the dogs on a good walk, and then cook a wonderful dinner.
Q: What time period would you travel to in a time machine? And why?
A: I would want to go back to the days of Jesus Christ and hear him speak and watch him perform miracles.
Q: If you could create a new pie flavor what would it be?
A: Chocolate and peanut butter concoction of some kind. Not so much that I would like it, but everyone else seems to think this would be a great idea.
