We’ve heard that whipped cream may be hard to come by this holiday season, so we asked our bakers for a simple, make-it-yourself home recipe.
This recipe takes less than 10 minutes to make, and it tastes delicious!
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Add heavy whipping cream to mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer on high for 3 to 4 minutes until soft peaks start to form.
Add sugar and vanilla extract to mixture and continue whipping for 30 to 40 seconds. (Do not over-whip mixture or it will begin to turn to butter.)
Refrigerate as needed. Yields approximately 1 and 1/2 cups whipped cream.
